This is part of a series of images called "Gardens of the Mind". They are imaginary gardens created using different photos of flowers from my garden . Each is a composite image which was created using several images of the particular flower. All the images are layered in Photoshop to create the final image.

Each photograph starts in the real world.
A garden.
A roadside.
A quiet corner.

But it doesn’t end there.
Because what we see is only the beginning.

In my process, I rearrange, reimagine, and reconstruct.
I take fragments of reality and let them grow into something new.
Something that never existed.
Something that could exist.

These are my Gardens of the Mind.
Not bound by geography.
Not limited by season.
Not restricted by rules.............................."
